Peer Review Process
The manuscript evaluation workflow at the Mises Journal begins with a preliminary screening (desk review) to ensure that the submission meets the journal's criteria, including thematic suitability, compliance with APA standards, relevance, and theoretical-methodological rigor.
Following approval from the Editor-in-Chief, the article is forwarded to an Associate Editor, who then assigns it to two specialists for a double-blind peer review—a method that guarantees the anonymity of both authors and reviewers. If the reviews are conflicting, a third reviewer is called upon to arbitrate the decision.
Once the evaluation is complete, the authors receive the editorial decision along with the anonymous comments. If revisions are required, authors have a 30-day period to submit the adjusted version through the OJS system.
It is imperative that all changes made are described in detail in the comments section so that the editors can proceed with the process.
