The journal MISES: Revista Interdisciplinar de Filosofia, Direito e Economia began its publication in 2013 with v. 1, no. 1. Between 2013 and 2017, the periodical maintained a semi-annual frequency, publishing two issues per year.

Beginning in January 2018, the journal was published under the title MISES: Interdisciplinary Journal of Philosophy, Law and Economics, and its entire collection was migrated to the OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform. From 2018 to 2019, its frequency became triannual, with three issues published annually.

Since January 2020, the journal has adopted the continuous publication model. In this modality, articles are published in the online version within a single annual volume with a single table of contents, eliminating the division into fascicles.
