Abstract

This article analyzes the evolution of the theoretical concept and the practices that involve the Human Security in the world context, and subsequently, with an emphasis on Brazil. It brings a comparative study between the Foreign Statute(1980), number 6.815 and Migration Law (2017), number 13.445, which normatize the situation of the foreigner in Brazil. The aim is to analyze the presence and development of the concept of the Human Security in Brazil based on the comparison between the current and the previous legislation about the treatment of migrants in the country.
